New
This release introduces the following new features:
System Administrators can now apply custom attributes to organizations and use organization-specific metadata in workflows.
System Administrators can now generate an Azure reserved instances (RI) recommendations report by one or three year intervals to help monitor and reduce spending. Report configurations include: generation schedule, scope of provided cloud account regions, and display of supported currencies.
Commander will now enforce minimum complexity rules for new and updated local user account passwords. This feature will enhance security for new and updated local user account passwords against common password attacks. For more information, see Manage Your Account.
Enhancements
This release introduces the following enhancements to existing functionality:
System Administrators can now ensure that only authorized Commander users are able to action approval emails by enabling the embotics.workflow.approval.link.auth.enabled
advanced system property. This system property is configured globally for the Commander instance. When enabled, users accessing approval email links will be required to authenticate with a valid user account that has the sufficient roles and permissions to approve service and change requests.
Commander has made a number of security improvements to align with industry standards.
