Submit Change Requests

You may be able to request a change to your deployed services, resources, or virtual services if your administrator has configured change requests for them. See Submit change requests for services and resources.

You may also be able to request changes for XaaS (Anything-as-a-Service) resources, which can include generic resources that belong to AWS stacks, GCP deployments, or Azure Resource Groups, or Terraform resources. See Submit change requests for generic resources.

Submit change requests for services and resources

You can request a change to inventoried services, resources, or virtual services that you own.

  1. Select Applications from the menu on the left.
  2. Select a listed resource or virtual service, then select Actions > Requests.
  3. Select a change request.
  4. In the Request Service Change page, provide the required input in the form fields, click Next.

    If there's no form that requires input, when prompted, click Confirm to submit your change request.

  5. Review the requested changes, then click Submit.

Submit change requests for generic resources

You may be able to request changes to generic resources that belong to the following cloud deployments: AWS stacks, GCP deployments, or Azure resource groups. You may also be able to request changes to Terraform resources.

  1. Select Applications from the menu on the left.
  2. Select a listed resource.
  3. Click the linked name of the parent resource.
  4. From the details page, expand the Resources section, select a child resource, then select Resource Actions.
  5. In the Request Service Change page, provide the required input in the form fields, click Next.

    If there's no form that requires input, when prompted, click Confirm to submit your change request.

  6. Review the requested changes, then click Submit.
