Manage extended coverage
Learn how to manage extended license coverage in SAM Core on Snow Atlas.
Add extended coverage
You need to specify the computer or datacenter/cluster to be covered, the application, and the reason.
On the SAM Core menu, select Computers.
Select the name of the computer you want to edit.
On the details page of the computer, select Edit computer.
On the Extended coverage tab, select Select datacenter to the right of the computer or datacenter/cluster name.
In Search for computer, type a search criterion, and then select Search.
Select the computer or datacenter/cluster from the search result list.
Select the applicable application from the list.
Select the applicable reason from the list.
Select OK.
Select Add to the right of the computer or datacenter/cluster name.
Select Save.
Remove extended coverage
On the SAM Core menu, select Computers.
Select the name of the computer you want to edit.
On the details page of the computer, select Edit computer.
On the Extended coverage tab and in the table row of the computer or datacenter/cluster you want to remove, select Remove.
Select OK to confirm.
Select Save.
