Manage SaaS users
Learn how to manage SaaS users in SaaS.
To manage SaaS users, you require the Snow Atlas Administrator role.
Mark as online only
Mark users that only exists as SaaS users; who do not have a device that is inventoried in your organization. This is common for, for example, consultants and other temporary staff. The user will have a mark in the Online only column. You turn off the toggle if the situation changes.
The mark does not change the data, but serves as a help when you analyze user activity and applications. Application usage, for example, may not show data for online-only users, since the browser extensions are locally installed. See Browser extension for more information. The same may be true for user activity in applications installed on devices, since devices for external staff may not be inventoried in your organization. See Device application usage for more information.
On the Users page, select the user in the list.
On the user details page, select Edit.
Turn on the Online only toggle.
Select Save.
Mark as qualified
Use Qualified to set which users to include in your cost of Snow's services. By default, all users are marked as qualified. This marking does not affect any indicators, charts, tables, or insights.
Exclusion is applicable to service accounts or similar, that do not have subscriptions assigned to them, or do not represent a person in your SaaS estate.
To exclude users from your cost of Snow's services:

Use Review to mark users that you need to analyze further, or as a reminder for taking action on their subscriptions. The user will have a mark in the Review column. Once you have taken action, you can turn off the toggle.
On the Users page, select the user in the list.
On the user details page, select Edit.
Turn on the Review toggle.
Select Save.
