Order summary view
The Compliance summary view in the Oracle section of SAM Core gives you an overview of the number of Oracle licenses per product, and your Oracle licenses costs per organization. To see the view, go to the Overview Products tab, and from the Select view list, select Order summary.
You can choose to see either the number of purchased Oracle licenses per product or your Oracle licenses costs per organization. Select the Filter 
button and then specify your choice by selecting from the appearing lists according to the following:
To see the total number of purchased Oracle licenses per product for a selected product type and metric, select Ordered licenses from the Data group list, and then select a product type from the Product type list, and a metric type from the Metric type list.
The bar for each product in the graph shows the number of assigned and unassigned licenses.
To see the total cost for your Oracle licenses for a selected product type and metric, select Cost from the Data group list, and then select a product type from the Product type list, and a metric type from the Metric type list.
The graph shows the total licenses cost by organization for the selected product type and metric. For each organization, the bar shows the total amount spent on license purchases and the total amount spent on first-year maintenance.
The following figures, for the selected product type and metric, are shown above the graph:
Total licenses cost - The total amount spent on license purchases.
Total maintenance cost - The total amount spent on first-year maintenance.
Cost of assigned licenses - The amount spent on license purchases for assigned licenses.
Cost of unassigned licenses - The amount spent on license purchases for licenses that are still unassigned.
Insights
The Insights section of the Order summary view highlights areas of potential spend-optimization opportunities, for example:
The total amount spent on licenses.
The total maintenance fees for licenses.
For each area, there is a link to a report with more detailed information.
