Unassign Oracle licenses
Users can unassign more than one Oracle license at a time. Only users who are members of the License Administrator role can unassign Oracle licenses.
Licenses can be unassigned from orders, products, computers (virtual and physical), and datacenters/clusters.
Unassign licenses from one or more orders
On the SAM Core menu, under Applications, select Oracle and then select the Entitlements tab.
Select the Orders view.
Select the check boxes for the orders from which you want to unassign licenses.
Select Unassign licenses.
To view the orders that you have selected, select an order to open it in a new tab.
Select Unassign licenses.
Unassign licenses from one or more products
On the SAM Core menu, under Applications, select Oracle and then select the Entitlements tab.
Select the Orders view.
Select an order.
Select the Products tab.
Select Manage license assignments.
Select check boxes for the products for which you want to unassign licenses.
Select Unassign licenses from selected products.
Unassign licenses from one or more computers/datacenters/clusters
On the SAM Core menu, under Applications, select Oracle and then select the Entitlements tab.
Select the License Assignments view.
Select Virtual machines, Physical servers, or Datacenters.
Select Manage license assignments.
Select check boxes for the computers and/or datacenters/clusters from which you want to unassign licenses.
Select Unassign licenses.
Unassign licenses from one computer/datacenter/cluster
On the SAM Core menu, under Applications, select Oracle and then select the Entitlements tab.
Select the License Assignments view.
Select Virtual machines, Physical servers, or Datacenters.
Select a computer/datacenter.
Select the label named for example Compliant, Not Compliant, or Product issues.

Select check boxes for the license types to unassign licenses for.
Select Unassign and then confirm the action.
