Prepare Zoom connectors

The Zoom connector retrieves your organization's SaaS data recorded in the Zoom portal. The gathered data consists of information about the license plans, users, meeting metrics, and usage activities.

In Zoom Marketplace, you are required to create a JWT app, and locate the API key and API secret. Enter these values in Settings when adding the connector.


Credentials for a Zoom account are required to follow this procedure.

  1. Sign in to Zoom Marketplace.

  2. On the Develop menu, select Build App.

  3. For the JWT app type, select Create.

  4. In Create a JWT app, enter the name of the app, and select Create.

    The app is created.

  5. On the Information page, enter Company Name, Developer Name , and Developer Email Address.

  6. Select Continue.

  7. On the App credentials page, copy the values in API key and API secret.

    If the credentials become compromised, it is possible to regenerate the API secret.

  8. Select Continue.

  9. On the Feature page, leave the Event subscription toggle turned off.

  10. Select Continue.

    If the app is correctly set up, a message is shown, confirming the activation.

  11. When adding the connector, in Settings, enter the copied values in API key and API secret.

After completing this task, follow the general procedure to Add connectors.

The connector makes API calls to the vendor to retrieve data.
