Browser extensions

The cloud application metering browser extension runs in the context of the browser. It records the web pages the user visits. The data is stored locally on the computer, from where it is collected by the Snow Inventory Agent.

The available extensions and the applicable browsers and platforms are listed in the table below. Snow supports the deployment of extensions for browser versions that are supported by the respective vendor.

With the exception of Apple Safari, the extensions can be installed on the computers by the Snow Inventory Agent for Windows or macOS according to the agent's configuration.
