About cloud application metering
Use the cloud application metering solution to gain visibility of the usage of cloud applications in the organization. The solution uses the existing Snow Inventory and Snow License Manager infrastructure together with browser extensions that are installed on the computers and gather information about the usage. The information is eventually made available in the Cloud and Applications sections of the Snow License Manager user interface.

Cloud application metering browser extensions
The cloud application metering extension runs in the context of the browser. It records the web pages the user visits. The data is stored locally on the computer, from where it is collected by the Snow Inventory Agent.
The available extensions and the applicable browsers and platforms are listed in the table below. Snow supports the deployment of extensions for browser versions that are supported by the respective vendor.
