Compliance summary view
The Compliance summary view gives you an overview of the compliance for your Oracle estate. To see the view, go to the Oracle overview > Overview Products tab, and from the Select view list, select Compliance summary.
You can select to view the License summary or the Compliance trend, as described below.
License summary
You can choose to view the license compliance either by product type, or by product. Select the Filter
button and then specify your choice by selecting from the appearing lists according to the following:
To see the compliance broken down by product type, select Product type from the Data group list, and then select a metric type from the Metric type list.
The key figures above the graph show the compliance for all Oracle products in your estate.
To see the compliance for a selected product type, broken down by product, select Product from the Data group list, and then select a product type from the Product type list, and a metric type from the Metric type list.
The key figures above the graph show the compliance for all Oracle products within the selected product type.
For each product type or product, the bar in the graph shows the total license count divided into:
Remaining quantity - The number of licenses that remain to be assigned to reach compliance.
Over-assigned quantity - The number of licenses that are assigned in surplus of the covered quantity.
Covered quantity - The number of licenses that have been assigned correctly.
Unassigned quantity - The number of available licenses that are not assigned.
To show the exact number, point to the respective part of the bar.
The following compliance figures are shown above the graph:
Total licenses count - The total number of licenses.
The total licenses count is calculated from data transferred from the OMO portal.
Assigned licenses - The number of correctly assigned licenses.
Unassigned licenses - The number of licenses that are not assigned.
Over-assigned licenses - The number of licenses that are assigned in surplus of the correctly assigned licenses.
Required quantity - The number of licenses required to be compliant.
Compliance trend
The compliance trend is shown in a graph for a specific set of product type, product, and metric type. Select the Filter button and then specify your choice of Product type, Product, and Metric type by selecting from the appearing lists.
The compliance trend is by default shown for the last three months. Select date range to view the compliance trend for another period of time.
To show the exact value for a trend, point to a dot on the line representing the specific point of time.

Note
It is possible to hide lines in the graph to view only a set of lines. To show all the lines again, refresh the page.
Insights
The Insights section of the Compliance summary view highlights areas of potential spend-optimization opportunities, for example:
Over-assigned licenses
Unassigned licenses
For each area, the potential optimization is shown, together with a link to a report with more detailed information.
