You can use Commander's searching and reporting capabilities to gain better visibility into your cloud infrastructure.
Searches
You can perform advanced search queries in Commander to obtain specific information of interest about your cloud data. You can also save your search queries, and configure saved searches to run as scheduled tasks.
Reports
You can use reports to better understand your current inventory, resource utilization and performance, cloud spend, and more. Commander offers a wide range of predefined reports:
- Capacity and Performance Reports
- Change and Configuration Management Reports
- Chargeback and IT Costing Reports
- Lifecycle Management Reports
You can also use any predefined report to create a custom report that will focus on information that's most important to you or to other Admin Portal and Service Portal users. You also have the ability to generate some reports that show marked-up and discounted costs, so you can provide users with only adjusted prices, not the actual prices you pay.
You can generate reports on a set schedule, and you can also optionally email notifications for those generated reports to users who would be interested in them.
