Configuration of Freshworks Freshdesk

The Snow Integration Connector for Freshworks Freshdesk is used to determine the number of registered Freshdesk support agents. The connector was introduced with Snow Integration Manager version 5.14.

The configuration must be started and prepared according to Configure a SaaS connector.

Prerequisites

A Freshdesk user account is required to connect to the Freshsales API and extract the number of users. The Freshdesk account must have the role Administrator.

Get the API Key

Snow Integration Manager integrates with Freshdesk via a unique API key.

  1. Log in to the Freshservice website.

  2. Select the Profile picture and select Profile settings.

  3. Select and copy the API Key, which is found in the Your API Key box.

Configure the Freshworks Freshdesk connector

In the Configure section at the bottom of Connector Configuration: SaaS:

  1. Enter the domain name for your Freshsales account in the Endpoint box.

  2. Paste the copied API Key, as saved in Get the API Key, in the API key box.

  3. Select Test Connection to verify that the connection between Snow Integration Manager and the Freshsales API is successful.

  4. Select the Active checkbox to enable the connector.

  5. Select Save.
