Create a Microsoft 365 account for authentication

A Microsoft 365 user account is required for retrieving information from Microsoft 365 Cloud Services.

  1. Ask the Administrator of your Microsoft 365 environment to create a new, normal user account. No specific roles or permissions are required.

  2. If the user account has MFA enabled, only manual aggregation of the connector is supported.

  3. The user account is now ready to be used when configuring the connector.
