Basic Settings
Settings for incomplete licenses, quarantine management, and metering, for example, are managed in the Basic Settings view.
Available actions are:
To change a setting, click the setting and use list, arrows, check box, or text box in the Settings Value column to change the value. A change is automatically saved.
To reset a single setting to the default value, click the setting in the list, and then click Reset current row to default value.
To reset all settings in the list to the default values, click Reset to default values.

Hide all usernames in the platform to meet integrity demands. |
APP_SUMMARY_INDICATOR_INTERVALL |
Number of days between updates for the application summary indicators (installations, users, devices). |
AUTOGENERATE_DCC |
If active the system auto-generates datacenters (DCC) based on hypervisor inventory information. |
AUTOGENERATE_DCC_MIN_HOSTS |
The minimum number of physical hosts that need to exist within a cluster/datacenter to enable the auto-generate DCC feature. |
DCC_AUTODISCONNECT_DAYS |
Days to wait before automatically removing members, that are missing inventory data, from auto-generated data centers. |
DEFAULT_EDIT_CURRENCY |
Default pre-selected currency to use in edit pages in SLM (the user can still select other available currencies). |
DEVICE_EXCLUSION_LIST |
Comma-separated list that defines which device names should not be imported when transferring inventory data (use % as a wildcard character). |

Activate quarantine management for devices. |

Number of inactive days before a device is placed in quarantine. |

METERING_HISTORY_CLEANUP |
Clear the metering history in Snow Inventory. All metering data older than the number of months specified by METERING_HISTORY_MONTHS is removed from the Snow Inventory database. Older statistics etc. are still available in SLM. |

Number of months of historical software metering to take into account when transferring inventory data. |
MOSTFREQUENTUSER_EXCLUSION |
Comma-separated list of usernames to exclude when calculating most frequent computer or mobile device users. % can be used as a wildcard character to match one or more characters. _ can be used as a wildcard to match one character.
