Available settings are:
Setting name | Description |
---|---|
ALWAYS_USE_SMTP | Use SMTP instead of messaging service for e-mail delivery. |
CID_REMOVAL_CLEANUP_DAYS | Number of days between customer deletion and permanent removal of data from the database. |
DATA_UPDATE_JOB_NAME | The default name of the Snow License Manager Data Update Job. |
DATAUPDATEJOB_DELTA | If enabled, only information on new machines will be processed on a daily basis by the Data Update Job. Existing machines will be updated according to the interval specified by the DATAUPDATEJOB_DELTA_FULL_DAY setting. NoteConsult Snow before enabling this setting. |
DATAUPDATEJOB_DELTA_FULL_DAY | Used with the DATAUPDATEJOB_DELTA setting. Sets a day of the week when a full update (information on both new and existing machines) will be processed by the Data Update Job. |
DB_SHRINK_ACTIVE | If active, it performs a database shrink command before and after the Data Update Job. NoteThe default permissions for the licensemanageruser role is not enough to be allowed to shrink databases. To be able to shrink databases, users must configure their permission to the right level. Add the licensemanageruser as a member in the db_owner fixed database role. It is also possible to add the licensemanageruser as a member in the sysadmin fixed server role, but this is not recommended due to security issues. |
DISABLE_DB_CHECKPOINTS | Disable the SQL Server database checkpoints during the Data Update Job. NoteThis optimization option shortens the time of the Data Update Job. However, disabling the database checkpoints might increase the size of the database log file. |
