Alerting

Use alerts to be notified of incidents of special importance to you, for example a sensitive application being used by an unauthorized user, or the presence in your IT estate of applications with a base score of 9 or higher.

Description

The alert notifications are sent by email containing a link to a report file which is password protected.

When creating an alert you define the criterion for triggering the alert by selecting a filter, for example Support ended, a condition, for example Equals, and a value, for example True. In this case, an alert notification will be sent whenever an application reaches end of support.

A number of filters are available for selection, for example Base Score, Operating System, and Manufacturer. The available conditions and values depend on the selected filter.
