Configuration of Asana

The Snow Integration Connector for Asana is used for determining the number of registered Asana users.

The configuration must be started and prepared according to SaaS connector configuration.

Prerequisites

An Asana account is required to connect to the Asana API and extract information about the number of users. To connect to the Asana API, a personal access token must be created. The Asana user account that is used for creating the personal access token must be a member of both the organization and all the workspaces from which information is to be aggregated.

Get the personal access token

A personal access token for the Asana user account is required as input when configuring the Asana connector.

  1. Log in to your Asana account, go to your profile menu and then select My Profile Settings.

The My Profile Settings view appears.

  2. On the Apps tab, select Manage Developer Apps.

The Developer App Management view appears.

  3. In the Personal Access Tokens section, select +Create New Personal Access Token.

  4. In the Description box, enter a descriptive name for the token and then select Create.

  5. Copy the personal access token displayed in the Token box. It will be used when configuring the connector.

    Warning

We advise you to save the token in a safe place, as it can not be recreated via Asana.
