Manage reports with application lifecycle information

Learn how to use reports with application lifecycle information in Snow License Manager.

Use the report Applications nearing End of Support

  1. On the Applications menu, click Application reports.

  2. Find and click the Applications nearing End of Support report.

  3. Click Show report.

    By default, the report uses the filter "Nearing End of Support equal to Yes".

Use the report Applications nearing End of Extended Support

  1. On the Applications menu, click Application reports.

  2. Find and click the Applications nearing End of Extended Support report.

  3. Click Show report.

    By default, the report uses the filter "Nearing End of Extended Support equal to Yes".

Use the report Applications nearing End of Life

  1. On the Applications menu, click Application reports.

  2. Find and click the Applications nearing End of Life report.

  3. Click Show report.

    By default, the report uses the filter "Nearing End of Life equal to Yes".

Use and configure the report All applications

The following procedure describes how you make available information about an application's Release, End-of-Support, End-of-Extended-Support, and End-of-Life visible in the All applications standard report in Snow License Manager.

To generate and configure the report, do the following:

  1. On the Applications menu, click Application reports.

  2. Find and click the All applications report.

  3. Optionally, you can select to only include applications from a specified manufacturer. Do the following:

    1. In Report criteria, click Add criteria.

    2. Select criterion Application manufacturer, select operator like, and then type the manufacturer name. Use % as a wildcard character.

  4. Click Show report.

  5. Click Column selector.

    The Select columns dialog box appears.

  6. Add the following columns to the report by drag-and-drop:

    • Release date (Date)

    • Release date is not announced (Yes/No)

    • End of support date (Date)

    • End of support (Yes/No)

    • End of support date is not announced (Yes/No)

    • End of extended support date (Date)

    • End of extended support (Yes/No)

    • End of extended support date is not announced (Yes/No)

    • End of life date (Date)

    • End of life (Yes/No)

    • End of life date is not announced (Yes/No)

  7. When all columns are added, close the Select columns dialog box.

    The added columns are now populated with the information that is available for the listed applications from your selected manufacturer.
