Manage customized reports

You can change columns, filtering, and report criteria of a standard report, and then save it as a customized report. When you save a customized report, you save the report configuration but you do not save any data from your system.

If you customize the Compliance summary standard report and then save it as My Compliance Summary, every time you open My Compliance Summary, your customized columns and filters will show. If you then select Show report, the columns will be populated with data from your system.



Use groups for customized reports

When you save new customized reports or resave existing ones, you have the possibility to organize them in groups for easy management. You can either select an existing group or create a new one in the process. For details, see Save customized reports. If you want to change the group of an existing report, you edit the report and then add it to another group. For details, see Edit customized reports.

After saving, the report will appear under the named group in the All Reports view. If you don't specify a group, the report will appear under the Ungrouped reports in the All Reports view.

Note

A group can only exist if there are reports added to it. If all the reports in a group are moved to other groups, the empty report will be removed from the system.

Save customized reports

  1. In a Report detail view, select Save report from the context ContextMenuIcon.pngmenu.

  2. In the Save report dialog:

    1. Optionally, change the Name and the Description of the report.

    2. Optionally, select a Group name from the list, or type a new group name.

  3. Click Save.

Edit customized reports

If you make changes to one of your customized reports, you can choose to save it as a new customized report or as an update of your customized report.

  1. In a Report detail view, select Save report from the context ContextMenuIcon.pngmenu.

  2. In the Save report dialog:

    1. Optionally, change the Name and the Description of the report.

    2. Optionally, select a Group name from the list, or type a new group name.

    3. Do one of the following:

      • To save it as a new customized report, select Save as new.

      • To save it as an update of your customized report, leave Save as new cleared.

  3. Click Save.

Delete customized reports

You can delete a report if the delete RemoveWhite icon appears next to the name of a report. You can delete reports you, the signed-in user, have created, but you cannot delete Standard reports or Shared reports created by another user.
